The world belongs to people on the evolutionary edge – our unseen leaders of future.

Unconventional Thinkers & Generalists have been treated as “not fitting in”, the Misfits, got dismissed and overlooked, they are considered as disruptive factors because they are different, they are rebels.

Next to Visionaries, Mavericks, Idealists, Artists they are precisely those who are urgently needed and indispensable to lead through the current worldly transformations. They are questioners, creatives, orchestrators, holistic thinkers, try-outs, dreamers & believers. By leaving the beaten track on familiar ground, which is why they are weirdos in our society, are marginalized, hostile, outcast or not taken seriously. One of the reasons why we are in a crisis.

If you feel like one of those, I urge you to stand up & come out of hiding place. We need every one of you.

Why? The universe is dynamic and always changing. Since decades we live in a superficially complex made world. Silo-thinking, separation mentality. We were made believe we must become specialists to be able to thrive and successful. We got put into conformity. But rigid beliefs are not working in an ever-changing world. An infinite mindset is needed. How come, especially in times of crisis, we are not getting all specialists & generalists on one table to discuss problems holistically and consider different perspectives?

Our perception is deliberately disturbed through mass media and news, where Technocrats look like Mother Theresa. We live in ignorance and don’t see the true problems. Even knowing what the problems are, we repeat old patterns. We live in spirals with re-enactment and repetition compulsion. On individual and global level, where fear is the currency of control.

A complex world, yet it can be so simple.

The problem: we solve symptoms, instead of the cause. We have forgotten how to think freely and be creative. We are not innovative. Resulting in zero or only short-term improvements. Single-minded leaders are tenaciously at the forefront in pursuit of their own agenda and ignorance of the wider impact they have on the world. And even with good intentions, wrong decisions are made or not fully thought through. Problems get bigger or just change shape and form, instead of solved. Changing this, topics such as economics, ecological, social, politics & health issues will resolve by itself - a chain reaction.

The solution: we need people with a big picture view and holistic understanding. People who can establish the interrelation between seemingly unrelated topics, situations and departments. People who can orchestrate context, know if pulling a string in a certain direction, results or implications are clear for other areas and the whole world. People who are challenging the status quo and seeing beyond the systems. People that dream, have faith, and see the ideal possibilities of what could be. People who create and build new sustainable, circular products and interconnected conscious business models beneficial for ALL- humans, animals and nature. Resources of any kind get effectively (re)used to reduce, savvy collaborations arise to support and optimize.

A crisis causes evolution, we must change, and the change is the evolution. And it always has been the creative minorities in those times who came up with new ideas to lead us out of problems and uncertain times to create a new civilisation based on the question: how can we survive?

But this time, the question shouldn’t only be “How can we survive?”, rather “How can we restore, protect & care for nature and others while we are building a new civilisation to be able to survive?”
