When mankind is harmonious, happy and fulfilled it is healthy!

All sickness, troubles & dramas comes from resentment, ill-will, hate, fear, anger, greed, ignorance, selfishness, … etc. It comes from the wrong pictures hold in our mindset. We are reaping on the external what we have sown in our thought world.

Sometimes, there is a fine line between selfishness and selflessness. And in our modern world it is pretty much confused.

It is not always about us, but all is up to us.

The dilemma: what is right and good for us & what is right and good for others?

The answer: consideration.

When in survival mode it is not easy to consider others. We start to be self-centred. All feels tight and small. Worried and uncertain. We like to give more but think “If we only have enough money or more of this or that”. Most people believe we need to have a lot to give, but that’s not true. You can have nothing and being the most generous person on earth. Giving is sometimes as simple as saying "thank you" to someone and MEANING IT. We should all give a little more.

Philanthropy is not a luxury only for the rich and famous, but its principles got misunderstood & violated, got wrongly modernized into capitalism over the last centuries. Philanthropy means giving and taking are essentially the same thing.

What does selflessness mean?

Many people want to give, but they don’t know how. The golden question: How can I best serve my higher purpose in this situation? NOT: How can I best serve myself in this situation?

Only when we have enough for our self can we truly give without expecting anything in return. Sometimes the most appropriate form of giving is silence. Being present is a selfless activity. But the caveat - we are not present until others say we are

We have to be honest with ourselves. If we are consistently entangled with other people’s energies, problems and demands and feel that we are not being nourished enough, then we have to learn to give more to our self. Giving is not a one-way street. It has an oncoming lane. Rest and spend time in nature, for example, is how you give to yourself. This is an important lesson to learn.

What is the root cause of the problem?

Selfishness comes from ignorance. When we don’t grow up nurtured and cared enough, we find ourselves often purposeless. We see that in our western culture manifested because our societal structures decline, and we become more self-centred. Those structures are selfish, because e.g. religion is telling us what purpose is, instead of us finding it out by ourselves. And the most selfish people have used those structures for their own selfish agenda to profit from.

A lack of higher purpose let us find anything to distract us, we go shopping, watch TV or porn, play video games, hustle hard. We stop being a selfish society when we raise and educate our children in an atmosphere with love and care. In the sense that every young child has a sweet open heart nurtured through philosophy of philanthropy. But today, our children are raised as consumer child’s by taking more than giving. We come in the world unselfish, but we are schooled in selfishness.

What we need to learn is consideration, to consider the feeling of others. And to realize that we are connected to everything and everyone on this planet. What we do to others we do to ourselves.

We need to redefine Philanthropy, derived from the two Greek terms ‘philos’ and ‘anthropos’, literally means the love of humanity. It has more to do with investment than charity. Investment of time and energy or money in the right people, systems, and projects in consideration of the collective & nature. The philanthropic view is a long-term view: It will not invest in empires that are founded on fear, even though people may be suffering under those regimes. It will begin a new system that invites all people to come and be educated in order that they may free themselves. That is the true love of humanity. Including innovative creative thinking and nourishing collaborating partnerships to build and serve a new society.

Feelings of harmony, fulfilment, joy and health are equivalent to how much we unlock our higher purpose. By how much we do what we enjoy doing.

When we do unlock it and it raises through us, it always has an altruistic outlook. The gift is in altruism. As this is human nature. How do we discover our higher purpose? How do we know what this higher purpose is?

1.       admit that you are selfish (even when this feels uncomfortable)

2.       practice non-resistance & a whole new world will open for you

3.       ask for help, look for a Mentor, a companion to guide you to unfold it.

When we start to consider the impact our words & actions have on other people, animals and nature, we begin to unlock the feeling of connectiveness and deep wisdom, that open heart that cellular certainty that there’s more to life. Our health blossoms and we begin to glow. There is nothing more powerful in the world than unconditional giving, no power greater than generosity. Generosity is about how we spend our most precious commodity of all – our time. How do we spend our time?

Through living our higher purpose, we heal a selfish attitude, and through that we heal our planet.

We are the ones who destroy this planet, we alone can heal it again. We are the problem, and the solution. It already starts to happen through sustainability, global movements and living a life in higher values, intentions and ethics. Even in business is the social responsibility emerging. But we need more people to support this. We need everyone to participate to make this happen. So, by giving joyfully out of your heart that is what true power really is, that is what move mountains. It will transform our world.

We need to build a new global structure. Through altruism we build this new world for our kids and next generations. We need a new monetary system based on philanthropic principles instead of profit. We need a new education system that considers the individual holistic child instead of sameness and being mind-based. We need a new governance that’s based on virtue rather than accomplishment. We need a new internet based on autonomy and decentralisation. We need to put our energy to develop game-changing technologies which create a far more sustainable, self- sustained, circular and interconnected ecosystem so nature is not in decay.

Now we experience ourselves as separate, no wonder that we are selfish. We just have to consider each other. Be nicer. We have the capacity to be a race of saints. Not this killer monkey war mentality race witnessing violence since the dawn of time.

It is up to us individuals and groups of likeminded to engage as many people as we can to find their purpose.
