Beauty only can be seen through the eyes of love

“Beauty is a lens provided by love. It’s a jewel hanging in the immensity of space and a poetic way of living. It’s an unseen, unsung moment that never ends - a moment of crystal, a shaft of eternity, a gust of wind inside the god."

– The 1st Way, the Siddhi of Beauty

Venus has been a symbol of beauty for eons, associated with the feminine earth principle which resides inside each of us. Nowadays however deeply misunderstood. When people talk about beauty they usually identify with outer looks and sexy female bodies, which become status symbols showcasing half-naked women, men in expensive suits and in front of sports cars, over consumerism, opulent houses and luxury places. Which has nothing to do with the feminine principle and everything with a distorted version of masculinity.

What if true beauty resides inside of us and cannot be expressed through words and touched through material things? It only can be seen through the eyes of love.

Beauty is expressed through creativity rooted in our own unique direction. What does this mean? For me, it means life is an Art, and there is an Art in living life - a creative process itself. It is expressed through radiance of the inner beauty - emotional intelligence, balanced thoughts, being smart (having a “trickster” kind of mind), being receptive, being generous, setting healthy boundaries and at the same time being kind and have compassion, allowing to create from my heart, let it come through me, not forcing it in a specific direction and work towards the wellbeing of the collective.

Being highly individual there is an inborn drive and deep need to focus on expressing oneself in unique and creative ways. It doesn’t always have to be eccentric, rather innovative and having the courage to express our unique perception of reality. We see the beauty in diversity and appreciate the freshness of having a conversation within different relationships of any ages, genders, cultures, societal levels and intelligence. By doing this, our creativity expands through the roof.

People like me are not concerned with being and becoming the best. No that is not our aim, comparison and competition is a trait of people who are collectively orientated. We are pretty humble, when operating out of our well-balanced true self, there is no or barely any ego involved. We simply want to live out our true creative nature, our authentic individuality. There is nothing to show off or need to be judged or criticized by anyone. You like it or you don’t. No explanation needed.

The thing is when we are happily absorbed in doing "our own thing," we are not aware that we are attracting the attention of others. It is while we are being true to our creative process that what we are doing, and how we are doing it, has its greatest impact. And impact doesn’t always mean for the wide world. No, it is enough to have a certain impact on someone near us. Even if this is just one person. And through this subtlety of influence eventually, a worldwide impact might be the outcome without having to work hard for it. It is simply through our way of being. In there lies the magic.

As we exemplify new ways of expressing our authentic selves, we empower others to consider new perspectives or new ways of being in the world. We may even change our creative direction over and over again to adapt to life’s circumstances.

Real creativity inspires others by example, and many people are convinced for impact to be properly felt and appreciated, it must be seen or heard. I partially disagree – and here is why: Individual expression is fulfilled through interaction with the world as its creations are made for others through us. But at the same time, we have to find fulfillment inside ourselves, even when no one will ever see our creations. True beauty is found in the creative process itself, in the doing and making, rather than in the result alone. A final product is just the result of someone’s authentic self-expression.

And that what we want most, to release our creativity unapologetically to the outside world, to let it breathe the air of uncertainty, terrifies us the most. What a dilemma…

I’m curious, what is holding you back to be seen in your unique authentic expression, whatever that means to you?
