She allows for endless diversity. Her works are most often spectacular and gorgeous.
Creativity means to bring something new into life and to clear the way for the unknown to become known. For the intangible to become tangible. To bring a piece of heaven to earth. Everyone is creative, but in a very different kind of way. And we limit our understanding of creativity only to the Arts, because in these areas it is worldwide accepted.
As Osho used to say, there are two kind of creators: the poets & the mystics. Poets create in the coarse-material world, outside of self through a picture, music, dance, a poem or architecture & the mystic in ethereal world, inside of self through self-discovery & self-knowledge.
Which one is subjective and which one objective? Is a question of perspective. What we can say both include infinite beauty. Yes, the land of inner voyage is full of exquisite beauty and grace too, but to feel that we need to be very vulnerable, cracked open and to become the attendee not only the viewer of self. It means to create awareness, and awareness is the purest, highest form of expression.
And then, it is the Artists job to transform symbols to music, words to colourful sounds & signs into pictures.
But what is “Art” actually? After a quote from Jose Borges: “The task of Art is to transform what continuously happens to us.”
Art is a crucial form of self-expression and discovery. Art could be anything, how we communicate, teach, design concepts or a spreadsheet. How we treat others, live in our relationships, raise our family, build and lead our businesses. How we live our truths and sculpt ourselves so that we can live a life that feels meaningful to us. To create a new style of company or foster new values and help create a new culture on this planet which will change and elevate the world. And it should not be viewed only as a hobby.
However, when we bring more attention to our hands, even in the mundane daily tasks, our hands will point to the quintessence - the jewel of life is in our hands. It means when we act, draw, paint, design, etc. it’s a form of healing of self and society at the same time in whatever form suits us. It is a way of transforming pain into pleasure, imagination into shape & dreams into reality. It is an ode to love, the love of self and everything around us. Love is abundant, creative & inspiring. The question is, how many souls can we touch to change the world with our creations?
And at the same time coming to terms with a universal truth: nothing endures forever, except for the amount of heart we put into our creations. That is the direction of true conscious beauty. When we live within the field of creative grace of mother nature, as specially created beings who also create.
What wild and unconventional voice is calling to you? Today, yesterday or since the childhood? It is time to let the old way out, we’ve outgrown old methods and strategies which might have been useful until now. When we experiment with new ways to be, life will show us the way. We can trust that. Always.
Make peace with strange beauty & let it happen through us in creative flow. Accept beauty in all what is strange & foreign. That will bring us the wisdom, new experiences & creative inspiration we need on our new way forward. We need more people who surrender the fear of being bizarre, unusual or exotic and allow their unconventional ideas to be more open and flourish.
At the beginning, for many it might feel as a disturbing liberation. But this is life. This is life creating centre stage upon we will experience greater fulfilment & joy. Yes, be nervous, but don’t shy away from pictorial changes, rambling around on the parade of inspiration, to rock the boat or burst out with fresh incoming ideas.
